Located at 78 N Lexington Ave, Asheville, NC 28801, Dobrá Tea operates as a tea house serving Asheville in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Hours at these spots often run into the evening, later than a typical coffee shop, and many stay open on weekends when demand is highest in Asheville. Seasonal and limited-time drink or dessert flavors are common, so a shop's current menu can differ from what is posted online; checking recent photos or calling ahead helps. Some locations in North Carolina are dessert-only with no seating, meant for takeout, while others have cafe-style seating for staying a while. Straws for bubble tea are typically wide to accommodate the toppings, and are provided automatically unless you ask for a regular one. Loyalty apps and stamp cards are common at chain locations, and ordering ahead through an app can shorten a wait considerably at busy locations during peak after-school and after-dinner hours.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 10 am–6 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Asheville is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Asheville is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across North Carolina's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

We loved this tea bar SO much that we literally went twice in the same day 😂 That pretty much says it all! Our first visit, we got the watermelon refresh and an iced chai, and both were amazing. Then, before heading out of town, we genuinely couldn’t resist stopping one more time and trying something different, and got a brown sugar rooibos bubble tea and an iced hibiscus tea. Every single drink was delicious, and their tea selection is incredible. There are so many unique options that I could easily come back over and over just to try something new! But the atmosphere might have been my favorite part. It is absolutely STUNNING inside. The colors, rugs, lanterns, artwork, and little details make it feel like you’ve stepped into a completely different country for a while. The floor-seating area tucked in the back is especially peaceful and cozy. It feels like this tiny hidden escape from the outside world. Be sure to remember to remove your shoes outside the floor seating area before heading up! (: The staff was also so kind and welcoming both times we came in, which just made the whole experience even better. And of course I had to make a wish before we left. 🥹💫 Amazing tea, wonde

I’ve read really good reviews about their matcha but it’s honestly one of the worst I’ve had. It’s not concentrated enough to actually taste like matcha. Moreover, they say they sift and whisk when making but I still end up getting clumps on my original and remake. The only plus is genuinely the space.

Helpful and cheerful staff. I tried golden milk for the first time. It was a great herbal option since I was on a detox. They opened the windows to let the fresh air in and I sat at the bar to people watch. I met a lovely young lady and her father. I loved the area to sit on the floor with your shoes off too. Great cup of tea, customer service, and good company. Would definitely recommend!

Wow! This tea shop was amazing! I went here on a girls’ trip to Asheville. After easily ordering from a plethora of drink options, all nine of us squeezed into one of the raised floor seating areas. The lighting was perfect, the cushions were cozy, and the Kerala Chai I got was absolutely delicious. I only wish I had a Dobra Tea nearby my own home. I would certainly visit this shop again!

Dobra Tea is such a gem. I had the almond cookie and the classic masala chai, and both were absolutely excellent. The chai was perfectly spiced—warming, balanced, and not overly sweet—and the almond cookie paired with it beautifully. Beyond the tea and treats, the place has amazing vibes: cozy, calming, and a great spot to slow down and enjoy the moment. Whether you’re a tea lover or just looking for a peaceful place to relax, Dobra Tea is well worth a visit.
